If you are staying Sorrento and you want to visit Capri with your family or friends we can offer you “CAPRI PRIVATELY” a private boat and a private guide all day long.

Visiting the Blue Grotto is possible but it may take some time, so it should be decided on tour with your skipper and your guide. In case the sea is not calm enough to make the tour of the island by private boat, the alternative route will be visiting Anacapri and take the chairlift to the top of Mount Solaro.

In case you need to be picked up somewhere else in the town of Sorrento or in Naples, on extra fee we can arrange the transfer from and to the fast boat ports.

You will meet your guide at the fast boat port of Naples or Sorrento. The crossing to Capri island takes about 50 min from Naples or 25 minutes from Sorrento and There are rides every 30 minutes.

The tour is private so with the help of your guide you can set it up as you wish. Here is our example of how the day tour unfold:

Once landed on Capri the first activity will be the Private boat ride around apart of the island. We will take you on a traditional Gozzo, which is a locally crafted wooden boat. Navigate around the island is the best way to enjoy its natural beauty. Together with your personal skipper, you will admire the most gorgeous natural cliffs and grottoes. The green and electric blue colors of the ocean will surely cause of surprise! If you want to dive in the crystal clear waters do not miss the opportunity in case you feel like swimming in the Mediterranean sea. The boat tour last about 2 hours. Please be aware, the Blu Grotto is the main attraction for groups and tourist from all over the world, so if you are interested in this activity, keep in minde that sometime it is subject to the great number of people who are going to visit it and to the weater conditions.

Once back to land, we can take a taxi or the funiculare (vertical cable railway) to reach the center of Capri town, the fascinating and timeless place of the Dolce Vita, where the old heart of the island pulsates. Italian lifestyle is also Capri town and its ‘piazzetta’, with some nice cafès, so why not, sit down at one of them and try to see some celebrities? Please if you would like lunch in some good restaurant, let your guide know in advance for the reservations.

The famous gardens of Augustus are certainly within walking distance from the center of Capri or if you like walking you can get away from the crowd and reach Punta Tragara to admire the beautiful scenery from the terrace overlooking the Faraglioni Rocks. For those who really like hiking, another option would be to visit the Roman Villa Jovis of the Emperor Tiberius, but consider that getting to this beautiful place takes about one hour each way. Ask your guide if you prefer this activity.

At the end of this memorable private tour of Capri, you will go back to the port in Marina Grande to make your way back to Naples or Sorrento by jet-foil speed boat.
